516 is a long-chain alkylaralkylpolysiloxane emulsion. Compared to thetraditional polydimethylsiloxane, 516 has many excellent properties.
Used as release agent, 516 is suitable for soft metal (aluminum, zincmagnesium, etc.) on die casting. The surface of the product is bright, and 516 is not carbonated on the mold surface. 516 does notaffect the secondary printing and finishing.
