Polyether Epoxy Terminated Silicone Oil is a kind of double-active silicone epoxy resin intermediate having liner polysiloxane segment in the middle, with epoxy groups and polyoxyethylene ether segments at both ends. Because of its epoxy group, it can react with amine curing agent. It can be used as an additive for epoxy resin, and it is also an important intermediate for the synthesis of block silicone oil by replacing epoxy silicone oil.

1.The intermediate of organosilicon multi-component copolymer block silicone oil can replace epoxy-terminated silicone oil for the synthesis of block silicone oil;
2. The end epoxy polyether silicone oil does not require the use of ED series polyetheramines in subsequent block polymerization due to the introduction of hydrophilic polyether segments in the structure. Only low-cost organic amines such as D series polyetheramines, fatty amines, and alcohol amines can be used for the synthesis of block silicone oil, effectively reducing the raw material cost of block silicone oil;
3. In the process of polymerization with organic amines, the amount of organic solvent can be significantly reduced. The amount of solvent required for the reaction is only 5% -20% of the mass of the epoxy polyether silicone oil, which produces a uniform, transparent, and stable high content block silicone oil. On the one hand, it greatly improves the application performance of the product, and on the other hand, it effectively reduces the emission of organic matter;
4. The end epoxy polyether silicone oil has poor compatibility with organic amines, and can effectively undergo homogeneous reactions under conditions of minimal or no solvents, thereby ensuring stable product quality;
5. Various tactile styles of block silicone oil can be synthesized by using end epoxy polyether silicone oil with different molecular weights;
6. The product modified with quaternary ammonium salt has better hydrophilicity and stability than ordinary quaternary ammonium salt modified silicone oil;
7. It can be applied to water-soluble epoxy resin systems to improve the flexibility of the resin and reduce internal stress.
