1.Vinyl trimethoxysilane is used for polyethylene cross-linking to manufacture wire and cable insulation
and sheath materials. This product is an important cross-linking agent for cross-linked polyethylene.
Compared with the common peroxide cross-linking and radiation cross-linking, its cross-linking process
has the advantages of simple equipment, low investment, easy control, wide range of polyethylene density,
suitable for producing special shaped sector core, and high extrusion speed. Because silane crosslinked polyethylene has excellent electrical properties, good heat resistance and stress cracking resistance, this
product is widely used in the manufacture of wires, insulation and sheath materials.
2.Vinyl trimethoxysilane is used for cross-linking polyethylene to produce heat-resistant pipes, hoses and
films. The crosslinked polyethylene made from this product as a cross-linking agent has good aromatic
hydrocarbon resistance, oil resistance, stress cracking resistance, high mechanical strength, and good heat resistance, and can be used for 50 years at 80 ºC. It can be used for the anti-corrosion and thermal insulation
outer protective layer of oil long-distance pipeline, natural gas and gas pipeline and the matching anti-corrosion
and thermal insulation heat shrinkable sleeve joint coating material; It can be used for water supply pipe and
hot water pipe of civil residence. This product can also be used as a crosslinking agent for ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, chlorinated polyethylene and ethylene-ethyl acrylate copolymer.
3.Vinyl trimethoxysilane is used for impregnating glass fiber and inorganic silicon-containing fillers to improve
the wettability and adhesion of resin and glass fiber, thus effectively improving the mechanical strength and electrical properties of glass fiber reinforced plastics and plastic laminated products, especially the wet
mechanical strength and electrical properties. It also significantly improves the weather resistance, water
resistance and heat resistance of FRP, and extends the service life of the products. In addition, the product
is also endowed with good electromagnetic wave transmission.
4.Vinyl trimethoxysilane is used to make special coatings. This product can be copolymerized with acrylic monomers to make special exterior wall coatings, which is called silicone acrylic exterior wall coatings. The
coating has many characteristics, such as weather resistance, dust resistance, washability, etc. It can be
used for 20 years.
5.Vinyl trimethoxysilane is used to prepare modified polymers for special purposes. This product can be copolymerized with various monomers (such as ethylene, propylene, butene, etc.) or grafted with
corresponding resins to make modified polymers for special purposes.
6.Composite bonding accelerator This product is a good accelerator for bonding silicone rubber with
metals, fabrics, etc.
7.Vinyl trimethoxysilane is used as the intermediate of silicone. It is suitable for unsaturated polyester,
acrylic resin, EPDM, etc. It is a good accelerator for bonding silicone rubber and metal.
