ZC-560 silane coupling agent, γ-glycidyl ether oxypropyl trimethoxysilane, is an epoxy functional silane that is widely used as a bonding accelerator in sulfides, ethyl carbamate, epoxies, acrylic fillers, sealants and adhesives.

Application:

1.Coatings, adhesives and sealants
Silane coupling agent ZC-560 is an excellent bonding accelerator used in acrylic coatings, adhesives and sealants. For sulfides, polyurethanes, RTV, epoxies, nitriles, phenolic resins, adhesives and sealants, amino-silanes improve pigment dispersity and increase adhesion to glass, aluminum and steel.
2.Reinforced glass fiber
Used in glass fiber reinforced thermosetting and thermoplastics, silane coupling agent ZC-560 can significantly improve the flexural strength, tensile strength and interlaminar shear strength under wet and dry conditions, and significantly improve the wet electrical properties. When this silane is used in wet and dry conditions, the flexural and tensile strength of glass-reinforced thermoplastics, polyamides, polyesters and polycarbonates increases both before and after immersion in water.
3.Fiberglass and mineral wool insulation
Adding silane coupling agent ZC-560 into the phenolic resin binder can improve the moisture resistance and the resilience after compression.
4.Mineral fillers and resin systems
Silane coupling agent ZC-560 can greatly improve the physical and mechanical properties and electrical properties of thermoplastic and thermosetting resins such as phenolic resin, polyester resin, epoxy, polyamine and polycarbonate filled with inorganic fillers, and improve the wettability and dispersion of fillers in polymers.
5.Casting application
The use of silane coupling agent ZC-560 can reduce the amount of phenolic resin or furan resin bonding agent in silica sand casting mold, and improve the strength of sand and reduce the gas generation.
6.Resin grinding wheel manufacturing
Silane coupling agent ZC-560 helps to improve the adhesion and water resistance of wear-resistant self-hardening sand and phenolic adhesives.
7.The application of wood plastic manufacturing
The impact strength, bending strength, bending modulus and other mechanical properties of the composite prepared from wood powder treated with silane coupling agent ZC-560 are improved.
